Cross-cultural Group Exhibition
March 16 - April 6, 2013
The criteria of small scale, new techniques and directions, rare finds from existing collections, and pieces that capture the spirit of a cross-cultural exhibition, are all considered in the selection for this biennial collection.
March 31 - April 21, 2012
Raven Dreaming is a solo exhibition by Māori artist Rex Homan of New Zealand, that honours the birds of the Pacific Northwest Coast that are revered in the stories and dances by the First Nations of Canada. The exhibition comprises of 30+ birds that have been carved over a two-year period. The selection includes portrayals of the powerful bald eagle and raven, the mythical Thunderbird, as well as many other acclaimed birds like the loon, grouse, hummingbird, owl and hawk.
