Barry Wilson
Haisla (Xanaksiyala) artist
Barry Wilson has been carving since he was a child. His brother is Haisla artist Derek Wilson. He is from the Killerwhale clan of the Haisla (Xanaksiyala) Nation.
In August of 2000, Barry was invited with his brother Derek and uncle, Henry Robertson, to travel to Sweden to raise a totem pole that they had carved to replace an existing Haisla pole, circa 1900.
